Level 1-10: Skill Choice and Killstreak Optimization

The moment Season 12 launches, open your Seasonal Journey and Diablo 4 Items claim your first skill point. This is crucial.

Choose:

A mobility-focused skill (e.g., Lunging Strike for Barbarian).
Or a ranged, sustained kill ability (like Hydra for Sorcerer).

Why? Because killstreak bonuses are shaping up to be the fastest XP method in Season 12.

Your early-game focus should be:

High-density zones.
Maintaining kill chains.
Never stopping between monster packs.

The longer the killstreak, the bigger the experience burst at the end.

Hell Tides vs PvP Zone: Where to Level Fast

Once you unlock seasonal systems, head straight to:

Primary: Hell Tides

Extremely high monster density.
Cinder farming for large XP chest bursts.
Excellent killstreak potential.

Secondary (Downtime): PvP Zones

Use when Hell Tides are inactive.
Maintain killstreak chains.
Farm constant mob waves.

The strategy is simple: pull mobs into other packs instead of clearing one group at buy d4 mats a time. Movement while damaging is key.
