A store in Riga collapsed and many people died and also many people needs help.

It must be a horror for the people who lost someone in the collapsed store...

Yes, all my family, friends and colleagues are safe. This supermarket is on the other end of the city.
We all are shocked with this tragedy. For now 38 people are dead. It is the biggest tragedy in last 20 years.

One of my colleagues was extremely lucky: he lives with his family in 50 meters of that store. In that day his wife was late on work, but he himself was near the store just 10 minutes before collapse and just decided NOT going in and visit a supermarket later ("it was too crowed", he said). This decision, probably, saved his life.

But also very sad about the people died or injured!

They found 51 people dead till now. 10 more persons are still missing...

54 people dead and only 7 missing. But official say that these 7 are not related with this tragedy: they had searched every square meter and hadn't found any more. It is promised that the count will not increase.

The newest information from Latvian police: all 7 missing persons were found safe and sound. As expected, they were NOT related to this tragedy.
