Hi Scott,
I called with HiG today.
In the case of "carcassebs" at BGG is Mr. Fronja from the HiG-Team my person.
Mr. Fronja wrote to "carcassebs" the emails.
Definitely they (HiG) don't like the idea of a 2nd English speaking forum.
The only one for the English speaking world is CarcassonneCentral.
I told him, that Gantry is working in the background to create a new
forum for CarcassonneCentral.

Scott hat es tatsächlich geschafft sich ins alte Forum einzuloggen.
Somit konnte er endlich die E-Mail an alle Mitglieder versenden.
Auch hat er nun das alte Forum gesperrt, damit keiner dort sich mehr registrieren kann und keiner kann mehr dort posten.

That is interesting:
I called with maik63de (maik63 - old CarcC forum) today.
We talked about the old CarcC forum.
He tested if he can log in - yes it works.
But the curious thing is, that he can post there.
As far as I know Scott and Gantry have closed the forum for posting.

I like to know why is it no longer closed for posting.

I think I figured out why Maik was able to post there. It should not be possible anymore.

What's troubling though is the amount of traffic that still comes to that site. I hope all those users are aware of the new CarcC site.
