game evening in Riga - 01 11 2013

Yes, we had a game evening on 1st of November. There were 14 people, and 8 games were played during the event. I brought my copy of "Carcassonne: South Seas" (I think, the only copy in Latvia at the moment ;) ), and everyone had enjoyed playing it! Also there was our national champion and the 3rd in current World ranking. As I said you earlier, he didn't knew about my website till the last championship, and accordingly didn't knew about our game evenings. Now he knows, and will try to visit our events as much as possible Our champion had proved his title and hadn't lost a game: 2 wins (first time playing with these expansions) and 1 draw (in South Seas). I am happy that new people come to my evenings: on this evening there were 4 new players, and they promised to come again with friends! Such successful events make me think that I am doing the right thing, trying to popularize Carcassonne ;)
